It has been since the day after Christmas since words poured out of the Citizen Brand keyboard. I think the break has been good. Honestly, I haven't had much time to write. I've been on a cruise where we swam with dolphins, went on a real submarine and had the requisite Red Stripe in Grand Cayman.
After only one day in the office, I took off on a transcontinental business trip that took me to New York and then to San Francisco and back across the country to Baltimore. Visit Risley Ranch for details on the unexpected recrossing of America and the visit to Edgar Allen Poe's hometown.
The question is how to start the year here at CB. As I was catching up on my blog reading this evening, I saw a lot of interesting stories on cause and corporate responsibility and such things. I will get to that soon. 2007 will be a great year for cause branding because so many more companies and non profits are really beginning to get it. It's going to be exciting.
But one post tonight really caught my eye. It may be one of the most powerful posts I have ever seen. It's all photos. Photos of my friend and former colleague Jenne on her 12th and final day of chemo. No words necessary. Her battle with cancer is complete and successful. Hallelujah.
Indeed.
Thanks friend.
