It should have happened long before today - President Bush visited Walter Reed Army Hospital to see what all the hubbub has been about.
Crises can be controlled better if you move quickly and have the highest authority figure get involved early to show he or she cares. The Walter Reed debacle reinforces the importance of these two, fundamental crisis management rules.
Now that the President has finally gone on his tour, let's urge all our elected officials to focus on finding solutions and help our soldiers get the care we promised them would be waiting for them.
