Despair is setting in among the political pundits on television tonight. The end of the presidential campaign is near. And they can't stand it.
The debate tonight was not close. It was not even a fair fight. Yet, despite whether you watched the liberal leaning MSNBC or the conservative leaning FOX, you heard how well Governor Sarah Palin did in her debate against Senator Joe Biden.
Seriously?
I doubt that many reading this blog are in doubt about where I stand in this election. But I ask anyone who believes that she proved she is ready to be one small step away from becoming President of the United States to please comment here and let's have a discussion about who is the best option to lead our nation come January.
The punditocracy fears the end of this long and important campaign. They need to relax and remember that politics survives beyond Election Day.
There's a disconnect between the pundits and voters this year. While most pundits thought Palin "won" because there weren't any disastrous mistakes, voters (particularly undecideds) gave the win overwhelmingly to Biden. Chuck Todd explains his take on this phenomenon here:
